In May 2017 Littleton Murdoch was commissioned by a County Council in England to carry out a number of days of surveillance work. The Trading Standards team in that area had been working to tackle the supply of illegal tobacco products from a number of shops in a town in their area.
Static, mobile and technical surveillance was carried out by the Littleton Murdoch team. Evidence was gathered which showed that a number of the shops were being supplied by a team of individuals. The men directing them were also highlighted, evidenced and identified. A number of properties and vehicles being used to store illegal tobacco products were highlighted and evidenced.
A full package of evidence, including photographs and videos, was supplied to the Trading Standards team at the conclusion of the operation.
