Formed in 2014, Littleton Murdoch provides high quality investigation, surveillance and consultancy expertise to organisations in the public and private sectors. Bespoke support can also be provided, including management and leadership.
Our team is led by Steven Hay whose professional background as a Trading Standards Officer has seen him gather over 20 years experience in three Local Authorities: Northamptonshire, Torfaen and Cardiff Councils. From 2007 to 2014, he was the Operational Manager for Consumer Services in Cardiff Council. In addition to leading Trading Standards teams, Steven established and led the Wales Illegal Money Lending Unit and oversaw Consumer Direct Wales. He also held roles in the wider Directorate within Cardiff Council, leading on health and safety, information security and service improvement and managed annual budgets totalling approximately £1.2 million.
Our wider team starts with our Senior Investigations Partners. All hold over 30 years experience as Police Officers, mostly as detectives. They have comprehensive experience, working on regional organised crime teams. They lead operations, liaise with other agencies and work with clients to meet agreed objectives. All have vast experience in tackling level 2 and level 3 crime.
In addition to our Senior Investigations Partners, we have other highly skilled team members who have a wide experience of working on and leading investigations. All those detailed above are highly skilled and experienced surveillance operatives.
Support workers and test purchasers make up the remainder of the team.
We work in partnership with other specialist service providers to provide the best outcomes for our clients.
