Operation Gleam was an investigation carried out by Powys Trading Standards into the supply of illegal teeth whitening kits. Littleton Murdoch was asked to and succeeded in obtaining witness statements from dozens of victims all over England.
 
The case led to successful prosecutions against a number of defendants, some receiving substantial prison sentences. Proceeds of crime action followed, with a £1.6 million confiscation order made.
